Expressing Expectations

Expectant; 1. Having expectations; expecting: an excited, expectant audience

I think I shall let these photographs speak a little for me and the precious family that is featured in todays blog world. I love the definition of expectant! Audience! And yes the Baileys along with a co-host of friends and family are an excited audience that is anticipating the arrival of Kashton!

It is a big, big world out there Kashton, but we are prepared
to Keep you safe and teach you the Bailey way.....

K is for Kissing his little sweet toes.....

K is for butterfly kisses.....

K is for Kicking and it is what my little cowboy does best......
K is for Kajen the dog you will become best friends with.....
K is for Kennedy your big sister that will probably try to boss you around and
help you get into some trouble, but she will be your best friend for Keeps!

K is for Kashton and a Keeper of the flame......

Nine months can seem like eternity, but for those of us who have experienced the expectancy of a baby growing inside of us we know it is really a brief time. Much preparation goes behind the scenes and everyday life never stops when a baby is growing inside a mothers womb. This little family has been very busy getting ready for Kashton's arrival. Packing and moving and job changes and breaking things and cutting things and chasing toddlers and shopping and cooking and eating and laundry and reading and dancing and outings and talking and dreaming and planning and talking some more and texting and face booking and gaining weight and enlarging their hearts and choosing to follow after the Lord are just a few of the activities that have kept this family busy! And Kashton you are hearing it all and you already know how much you are loved!

really.... it is a story that could have a caption that reads....
ALL BECAUSE TWO PEOPLE FELL IN LOVE

K is for Keeps and I  love you, my dear baby boy.....

K is for kids, kisses, kool-aid, kicking and kindness......and
kangaroo stories and kaleidoscopes and kindergarten days and kooky
little moments and bathroom knobs that
get locked and knitting, yes
lots of knitting together
in love....and that is
your family,
Kashton!

Kisses for Kennedy and
Kisses for Kashton
and Kudos for
Keannon the daddy
and Keen mommy, Vanessa

Our Lives are kaleidoscopes
full of rotations and shifting patterns,

scenes played in fast motion

and slow motion and reruns and repetitions,

but we are truly being changed day by day

because of our great big God

who holds our world in His hands!

Love you always and forever,
Gigi

P.S. and can we just simply say we did it!?!

  1. "Here our our maternity pictures along with narration from the photographer. They have touched my heart more than I could have imagined. I hope you that care to look can understand this photographer does so much more than capture the moment, she captures the heart and emotion." Vanessa

  3. Well, I didn't do it by myself! It was pretty amazing how all of this came together! You are most welcome and who would have ever thought that a bottle of makeup would turn into such a journey of friendship and love!
