Hold On To This Day
It is the pictures that are captured for the couple that forever tell their love story! Heather and Nate had planned many details into their day and wanted their guests to be entertained and fed well! As the afternoon winds eventually calmed down to a gentle breeze and the sun began to set in the west it became a night to remember. With the wedding vows said and the exchanging of the rings it was time to be off to the venue for the reception. The delicious food and wine were consumed and enjoyed by all. Dancing that lasted all night under the soft lights of the beautiful venue that was embellished with white roses set the festivities. And love and laughter lifted the rafters even higher! Hospitality flowed freely!
You will not see pictures here on this blog of the moments I just described, but you are in for a special surprise because I had the opportunity to do Heather and Nate's "First Look Pictures"! I need to do a big shout out for this groom because he was not to keen on this idea at the onset, and as a photographer I could not have asked for any more cooperation than he gave!
Heather and Nate, thank you for agreeing to do this and allowing me to sit and soak up the ceremony and smile, remember and cry as you two became Mr. and Mrs. P.! What an awesome testimony of the goodness of our Lord! And you two should have just a few pictures you both will treasure for a lifetime!
Wedding Song
by: Matthew Mole
Here we are we've found the day
Like we always prayed
What I see the future bring
To you and me one day
Hold on to this day
Keep inside your heart such faith
We'll walk along the path God made
And our Father's spoken
This life we've chosen
Will help us follow your plan
And I can't profess that I understand it
But I see me holding your hand
Heaven made your hand
To compliment my hand
Like Heaven made my heart
To compliment your heart
Heaven gave you love
To compliment my love
So one day we will love
The way that God intended for us
Beautiful Things
by: Gungor
All this pain
I wonder if I'll ever find my way
I wonder if my life could really change, at all
All this earth
Could all that is lost ever be found?
Could a garden come out from this ground, at all?
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things out of us
All around,
Hope is springing up from this old ground
Out of chaos life is being found, in you
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
Oh, you make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make me new,
You are making me new
You make me new,
You are making me new
(Making me new)
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
Oh, you make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make me new,
You are making me new
You make me new,
You are making me new
yes, he is texting his bride…… how sweet it is |
Your Love is Extravagant
by:Casting Crowns
Your love is extravagant
Your friendship, it is intimate
I feel like moving to the rhythm of Your grace
Your love is extravagant
Spread wide in the arms of Christ is the love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again
Spread wide in the arms of Christ is the love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again
Your love is extravagant
Your friendship, it is intimate
we are going to the chapel and we are gonna get married….. |
Dancing, yes there was much dancing and celebrating ….. and yes I danced too!
Love you both!
